Salmon Steak for lunch

After a long while, this is my 1st post for the year 2012.

We have our group lunch at “Delicious” at The Straits Quay, a new place at the north of Penang Island. And below is my lunch 🙂

The two Jinbei was set on the left and right of the model and I use a YN460 to light the backgroud.

Event: Baking Class by Haslynda.com

Today I was asked to cover a baking class organised by Haslynda.com and the “Jom jalan jalan baking” group. Chef Khairi tought the participant few of his cake recipe’s. The class was made more interesting with the appearance of Maria Tunku Sabri

APC’s On The Road

Today while on the way to an event photoshoot, saw a convoy of 4 apc’s making it way to Sungai Dua toll plaza. I think these apc’s (or this model) that involved in an accident yesterday with a car, near Juru.

They were escorted by Military Police (MP) outriders.

Congressman blames U.S. unemployment crisis on iPad

In it U.S. Representative Jesse Jackson Jr (D-IL) blasts Apple and Steve Jobs claiming that the iPad is responsible for killing thousands of American jobs.
In the rambling manifesto Jackson claims that the iPad is to blame because it enables anyone to easily download books and newspapers. Thus everyone who works at bookstores (i.e. Borders) or the publishing industry will lose their jobs to workers making iPads in China.

“Why do you need to go to Barnes & Noble? Buy an iPad and download your newspaper, download your book, download your magazine.” He went on to talk about plans to Chicago State University’s plans to create a “textbookless” campus by giving incoming freshman students iPads.

The most ironic part? Jackson himself is an iPad owner.

Model PhotoShoot Before & After

I shot this last week for a new headscarf design by FareedaScarf.

I set up two speedlites on the left and right of the model. But only the right was triggered at this time. But I like it 🙂

I spend about 10 minutes in PhotoShop to change the background and a little retouching on the model.

I have few more shots, which i will share later.
